The Long Beach Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation will be holding it’s next general meeting on Monday, October 4th at 7PM at Ecco’s Pizza at 2123 N Bellflower Blvd. in Long Beach. It’s free to the public. We’ll start out with a short talk about the Sink the Breakwater campaign, with goals of bringing waves back to Long Beach. Then Taylor Parker of Tidal Influence will be speaking about the Los Cerritos Wetlands and the Colorado Lagoon Restoration Projects. Finally, Tanya Schroeder, writer and adventurer, will be talking about her new memoir “Fall Hard". Free pizza, so bring your whole family!!
