Every year we designate June as the Breakwater Awareness Month for the purpose of reaching out to as many people as possible and educate them on our 20-year campaign to bring waves back to Long Beach for ecosystem restoration and revitalization of the beach and the beach community.

Paddle Out in Memory of the Waves
June 1, 2019 11am - 1pm at Granada Beach (near Rosie's Dog Beach)
Bring something that floats, and paddle out about 40 yards from shore to commemorate our lost waves and celebrate their return.
Come with your friends and family and show your support for bringing waves back to Long Beach! Free event. Food and music on the beach. Free T-shirts, hats, bags and coffee mugs while supplies last!
Breakwater Community Meeting
June 25, 2019 6:30pm - 8:30pm at Studio One Eleven (245 E 3rd St, Long Beach, CA 90802)
Find out the status of the Feasibility Study to restore the Long Beach Harbor (East San Pedro Bay Ecosystem Restoration Feasibility Study) conducted by Army Corps of Engineers and City of Long Beach.
Free event. Food/drinks and raffle prizes. Full schedule to be posted later in May.
