Our guest speaker is Pamela Manning from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works, discussing
the proposed county stormwater funding measure. If approved, this measure will impose a parcel fee (average of $54 a year for most residential properties) that would fund efforts to clean up stormwater that flows into the county's waterways. The measure also impose the fee on School Districts. Details of the measure can be located
here. This is quite controversial, so we expect a big showing. You can ask questions directly from the people who wrote the measure. This event is free (pizza included!) and open to the public.
